Alpine, whose fierce disposition derives from his early days in the Oakland wilderness, teams with the alarm service to keep my house secure.

Exhausted, the boys conserve their energies for the next conflict.

OK, so 'fierce' was an exaggeration. But at least he's not hiding under the covers, which is his usual response to company.

Moo is no longer a resident of the household, so Alpine is alpha once again.
