Harold Residence Addition

Hollywood Hills, California

This was a substantial addition to an existing 1960s-era stucco residence. The two stories over the garage and the stair alongside are new. The top floor is an office and exercise space for the owner, a cardiologist.

The second level is a multimedia room with a state of the art (circa 1992) Dolby multimedia system. Everything is remote controlled. Remote controls operate the motorized projector and the blackout shades, as well as the entertainment system. The paneling is maple throughout, with a clear finish. The views of the LA basin are quite striking from this room and the office above.
