This was a substantial addition to an existing 1960s-era stucco residence. The two stories over the garage and the stair alongside are new. The top floor is an office and exercise space for the owner, a cardiologist.

The second level is a multimedia room with a state of the art system (circa 1992). Remote controls operate the motorized projector and the blackout shades, as well as the entertainment system. The paneling is maple throughout, with a clear finish. The views of the LA basin are quite striking from this room and the office above.
